Moving to Bilsen Road in 1990, the company was acquired by Phil Fisher in 2001, with his son Nick joining as an apprentice. Over the years, ACA has evolved, expanding its capabilities and modernizing with advanced CNC machinery, allowing for faster production and greater precision.
Now under Nick’s leadership since 2021, ACA continues to deliver top-tier products, from one-off custom pieces to high-volume projects, always prioritizing customer satisfaction and quick turnaround times. ACA also proudly supports the local community through sporting club sponsorships.

Our History

ACA was founded in 1983, starting as a small garage operation.
Driven by a dedication to high-quality and professional work, the business quickly outgrew its humble beginnings, moving to its current premises on Bilsen Road in 1990.
In 2001, Phil Fisher acquired ACA, bringing his son Nick on board as an apprentice fitter and turner. Under Phil’s leadership, ACA expanded its capabilities, upgrading machinery to keep pace with growing demand.
As the Fisher family became more involved, with Glen joining as an apprentice in 2007 and their sister Melissa in 2014, ACA continued to thrive.
Nick remained with ACA for 13 years before gaining further experience in a separate engineering firm, while Glen established his own business and continued to collaborate with ACA on CNC router work.
After Phil’s retirement, Nick took the helm in 2021, modernizing ACA by investing in state-of-the-art CNC machinery, including a lathe, machining center, and router with a 3,000mm x 1,500mm bed.
These upgrades have allowed ACA to increase production speed, enhance technical precision, and handle more complex and larger-scale projects.
Today, ACA remains committed to its core values of working closely with customers to deliver the highest quality products with fast turnaround times, ensuring their clients can keep their own businesses moving forward without delays.
With the capability to produce everything from one-off pieces using traditional manual machinery to high-volume projects with advanced CNC technology, ACA continues to grow, driven by a legacy of dedication to excellence.
Additionally, ACA proudly supports the local community through sponsorships of local sporting clubs, reflecting its commitment to giving back.
